Lola Gray - Office Manager

Lola was born in Columbus Ohio but moved to Arizona as a child. She has worked in various positions in the medical field for nearly 35 years. She worked for SAA/ASA for 14 years doing billing and coding, before moving to Show Low, AZ for a couple of years, where she worked at opening the Heber/Overgaard Clinic and in Human Resources at Show Low hospital. Lola rejoined ASA in 2012 and was promoted to Billing Coordinator in 2015, and Office Manager in 2022. She enjoys camping, fishing and campfires.

Sydney Scott - Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Sydney was born and raised in Tucson, and grew up enjoying the outdoors and U of A football games. She studied Accounting at Pima Community College, and is a Certified Bookkeeper. Sydney started with SAA/ASA in March 2021, as the Assistant Bookkeeper, after working as the Bookkeeper and Office Manager for an engineering firm in Tucson. She was soon promoted to Full-Charge Bookkeeper.  Sydney enjoys crunching numbers, but her other interests include Disneyland history, Sewing, and 1950’s culture.

Cheryl Vinyard - Coding Coordinator

A certified coder, Cheryl joined SAA/ASA in 2003 and held various positions of increasing responsibility, from receptionist to data entry to coder before being named Coding Coordinator in 2018. Outside of work, Cheryl keeps quite busy crafting, camping, boating, reading, and spending time with her family and pets.

Juanita Mendoza - Scheduling Coordinator

Juanita has nearly 25 years of experience in the medical field, having worked for a podiatrist for 5 years before joining SAA/ASA as a scheduler in 2000. In 2018 she was promoted to the position of scheduling coordinator. Outside of the office, Juanita spends her time running, taking long walks and enjoying time at home with her family and pets.

Becky Townsend - Recruiting and Credentialing Coordinator

Becky was born in Mississippi and moved to Arizona in 1984, calling Tucson home for over 10 years. She has worked in various positions in the medical field for almost 30 years. She joined ASA in 2007 as a scheduler, and was promoted in 2016 to the position of Credentialing & Recruiting Coordinator. When she is not at work, Becky enjoys hiking, biking, bowling, reading, watching movies, crafting, and watching her grandson play soccer.
